If you’re not a fan of Progressive’s character Flo, you’re going to hate this new commercial which introduces us to the spokeswoman’s family. That’s because every single member of Flo’s family is played by the same actress who plays Flo. Think of this as some sort of bizarre Thanksgiving at the Klumps, except one family member keeps blabbing about insurance.
“I’ve got the meat sweats.”
What? Honestly, that line resulted in a chuckle, but I’m not sure what the hell it means. Pretty sure I don’t want to know either.
The shorter spots have no redeeming qualities.
OK, maybe we all can relate to Flo’s sister. I mean Flo, because Flo is playing her own sister. I’m confused.
